Cervical Smears
Regular cervical smears form an important part of preventative care in women above the age of 25. Facilities for this and appropriate follow-up have been undertaken by the practice for many years with conviction and enthusiasm. Child Health Surveillance – Childhood Immunisation Programme
Child Health is of course extremely important, and advice is always available from the Practice. This Practice takes part in Child Health Surveillance. For advice on matters of children’s health the Practice Health Visitor can also be contacted on Telephone Number 01292885501.

The services of a dietitian are available by appointment at the Girvan Community Hospital. Referral is by your doctor.
We offer antenatal care in co-operation with the consultant obstetric unit at the Ayrshire Maternity Unit at Crosshouse Hospital. Our district midwife will advise you about various aspects of pregnancy, including Antenatal Care & Delivery and Parentcraft Classes etc. The antenatal/postnatal clinics are held in the Health Centre on Tuesday afternoon by appointment.
